Humberto Brown's Video
LACAR invited Humberto Brown to speak in Toronto in 2002. Mr.
Brown is a human rights activits who spoke eloquently about racism in
Latin America and the history of Afro-latinosand Afro-latinas. He was
the International Secretary of the Black Radical Congress, ex-delegate
of the Torrijos' government to the UN, and delegate of the Afro-American
delegation to the World Conference Against Racism in Durham.
Mr. Brown allowed us to videotape his presentation. He has
generously given us permission to sell this video for $10.00 to fund
our anti-racist work. This video is in Spanish only.

hijas lesbianas e hijos gays de Mariana Romo-Carmona.
Mariana Romo-Carmona, a Chilean lesbian writer and activist
who lives in New York, was invited by LACAR to launch her book in Toronto
in 2002. In this anthology, twenty-three Latin American parents speak
about their relationships with their lesbian and gay children.
