Proposed golf course announced

Below is the proposed golf course for the Peoples' Open Golf Tournament. It has been designed as part of the attempts to disrupt the 2005 G8 Summit. There are 8 holes, one for each of the self-proclaimed leaders. Tee off time will be very early on July 6th, as the delegates and support staff arrive, and the blockades go up. The game ends on the 7th with the final hole -- the Gleneagles Golf Course itself.

The location of the holes are grouped by location:

1-4 Rural holes
5-7 Urban holes
8 Ass holes

and assigned to each of the leaders:

  1. (CHIRAC) Loaninghead, on the A9 (tee off outside Blackford towards Auchterarder)
  2. (PUTIN) Aberuthven, on the A9, outside of town towards Gleneagles.
  3. (MARTIN) near West Slack along the A823. One can tee off from the Crieff hotels, where many of the delegates will be staying.
  4. (KOIZUMI) The remains of Gleneagles castle, on the A823
  5. (SHROEDER) Edinburgh Airport, where it is rumored that some of the support staff and delegates will leave from. The Airport only has one road running through it.
  6. (BERLUSCONI) Glasgow, either Prestwick airport (where the 8 cowards are meant to arrive before jumping into their helicopters), or the hotels where some of the delegates will be staying.
  7. (BLAIR) Forth bridge, the main artery between Edinburgh and Gleaneagles.
  8. (BUSH) Gleneagles 18th hole
The first seven holes will be played on July 6th, and the last hole will be played on the 7th. Tee of time for the last hole is suggested to be at 2 pm, unless the blockades are still up.

From July 1st onwards, there will be People's Golfing Association (PGA) meetings and workshops every day, at 3 pm, at the rural convergence site near Stirling. There will also be workshops in Edinburgh on Sunday July 3rd, from 8-10 pm, and Tuesday, July 5th from 4-6 pm.

Autonomous golfers, and those who would like to act in coordination are invited. This includes bands, those doing blockades, and those providing light amusement. At the convergence space, all of us, together, can discuss our ideas and proposals.
